Technically, I would think Pi Day is 3.14.15, but that’s still a few years away:
Join our 21st annual tribute to the never-ending number pi (3.14159…). Sing Pi Day songs, solve pi puzzles, meet other pi enthusiasts, and help us celebrate Albert Einstein’s birthday! The 3/14 Pi Procession kicks off at 1:59 p.m. at our pi shrine on the Mezzanine. You never know what you’ll find (or eat!) during our Pi Day celebration.
Exploratorium emeritus Larry Shaw began Pi Day in 1988 as a fun and tasty way to learn about the famous irrational number. A true Prince of Pi, Larry has headed every Pi Procession since with the #3 and his singular berry pi cap.
The event begins at 1:59pm and runs until 3:30pm. For more information, contact the Exploratorium.
Umm…pi…
